Associate Principal Business Psychologist
Maria is an experienced Business Psychologist specialising in the design and delivery of psychologically informed leadership, team and organisational development interventions.
She supports organisations to strengthen leadership capability, enhance team effectiveness, and navigate complexity, change and transformation. Her work includes leadership and management development, team development, assessment and talent management.
With expertise in organisational psychology, behavioural science and group dynamics, Maria facilitates both structured development programmes and emergent leadership conversations. She works with senior leaders and teams to address real organisational challenges, align around shared priorities and engage in open, constructive dialogue that drives performance and collaboration.
Maria blends psychological expertise with practical application, helping individuals and teams transform insights into meaningful and lasting behavioural change. She is recognised for her warm, engaging and focused facilitation style, which fosters safe environments that encourage reflection, challenge and honest discussion.
Her earlier career in Human Resources within the Social Care sector and in recruitment within a leading UK recruitment consultancy provides her with a strong understanding of organisational context and workforce challenges.
Qualifications
Maria holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from Alliance Manchester Business School. She is a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS) and an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited coach (ACC). Maria is a qualified Test User (Ability and Personality), a certified Strengthscope Practitioner and a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA England).
