Career background
Liz has extensive experience of leading organisations to success and has worked at a local regional and national level in health, local government, and
universities.
Prior to going into consultancy Liz had a 36-year career across health and local government. She was an NHS Foundation Trust Chief Executive, Chief Executive of an NHS Academic Health Science Network and Managing Director of a health, local government, university, and voluntary sector partnership. She worked as an HR and OD Director in 3 NHS trusts plus worked in senior roles for three councils, leading and supporting them to deploy effective front-line services to their residents.
Her current work focuses on collaboration across systems and deployment of innovation that will support residents and staff to have healthier lives. She is Chair for the national Healthcare Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI), Chair of the Kirklees Integrated Place Board, Advisor/Chair/Consultant for three healthcare businesses, and served as a Non-Executive Director for Health Education England, Northern Health Science Alliance and a number of other organisations.
