We’re hiring! Permanent, full time, Senior Consultant vacancy

We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting a Senior Consultant on a full time, permanent contract to join the team at Impact.

About the Role

We are looking for someone to work closely with the Chief Executive to manage and grow the business. This varied and hands on role offers the opportunity to work across a breadth of areas of occupational psychology. At any one time you may be responsible for projects including the design and delivery leadership development centres, coaching senior managers, using psychometrics for assessment and designing and facilitating Board development workshops, all alongside business development activities. Working in a matrix style, supported by a team of psychologists you will have overall accountability for a portfolio of projects and client accounts, involving the design and delivery of bespoke solutions across Impact’s four pillars: Performance, Leadership, Talent and Change. You will play a key role in the day to day management of the business, contributing to business planning and managing and developing a small team.

About You

The successful candidate will hold a Masters in Occupational/Organisational Psychology (or post graduate qualification in a similar subject). A qualified Test User (Occupational Ability and Personality) you will be competent administering, interpreting and recommending psychometric tests for assessment and development.

You will be an experienced Consultant, ideally in Business/Occupational Psychology but experience gained in a Learning and Development, Management Consultancy or Organisational Development will also be considered. With a track record of designing and delivering bespoke leadership development solutions rooted within psychological evidence and research, you will advise clients on best practice and provide subject matter expertise. We are looking for someone who can apply psychological research and theory to practical business issues and design creative solutions and interventions to enhance organisational performance for our clients. You will also need to show strong business acumen and the ability to seek out and win new business opportunities.

You will share our values of excellence, openness and integrity, enjoy working collaboratively and be highly motivated, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and credibility working with C-Suite and Board level client contacts. Experience of line management and developing staff is also essential.
