Directors of Public Health have been taking a positive approach to their integration into Local Authorities. Putting health and wellbeing top of the agenda is a challenge that they have been relishing. Impact Consulting have been commissioned by the North West Leadership Academy to coach Directors of Public Health during this transition. One DPH stated in their evaluation “The support was appropriate, challenging and action oriented. The venue was easy to get to, quiet, confidential with no interruptions. I would recommend the coach to other colleagues as she was supportive but challenging, she gets to know you, it is tailored and she takes a positive approach which makes it easy to take action as a result”.
