Shelly created Impact in 1994. With over twenty five years of high-level commercial experience, Shelly has led change programmes across a vast number of public, private and voluntary sector organisations, in both professional and managerial capacities.

She works with top business and public sector leaders and shares her experience from her positions as Non-Executive Director for an NHS Trust and five years as Chair of North West in Business.

As a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Shelly is nationally recognised as an expert in executive coaching. She has worked across Europe and in the US. High level work in government includes coaching and developing senior civil servants.

She is well known for her high profile TV and radio appearances on stress at work, workplace bullying and other occupational psychology issues.

Shelly finds inspiration staying at her cottage in Scotland, enjoying the wonderful scenery and wild and windy walks across beaches of the Solway Firth. A keen bridge player, Shelly also creates balance in her life with a love of theatre and Zumba!
